Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Eutierria Therapy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including therapy sessions, consultations, and any other related services provided by Eutierria Therapy. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions
  • Service: Refers to all services provided by Eutierria Therapy, including individual and group therapy, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), consultations, and any other related services.

  • Participant/Client: Refers to any individual who engages with the services provided by Eutierria Therapy.

  • Therapist: Refers to the licensed mental health professional providing therapeutic services under Eutierria Therapy.

  • Eutierria Therapy: Refers to the specific therapeutic approach that emphasizes a deep connection with nature and incorporates eco-decolonial practices.

  • Outdoor Sessions: Refers to therapy sessions conducted in natural environments, such as parks or other outdoor settings.

  • Telehealth: Refers to therapy sessions conducted online via video conferencing or other digital means.

  • KAP: Refers to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, a therapeutic modality that combines ketamine with psychotherapy.

3. Services Provided

Eutierria Therapy offers a variety of services, including:

  • Eutierria Therapy Sessions: Focused on eco-decolonial approaches and conducted primarily in outdoor settings.

  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP): A modality where ketamine is used in conjunction with psychotherapy, provided in partnership with Journey Clinical.

  • Telehealth Sessions: Online therapy sessions conducted via secure video conferencing platforms.

  • Group Therapy: Group sessions that may take place in designated outdoor or indoor locations.

4. Eligibility

Clients must be at least 18 years old to engage in therapy services. For those under 18, parental consent is required. The suitability of services, including KAP, will be determined through an initial consultation. Clients must also reside in the jurisdiction where the therapist is licensed to practice.

5. Payment Terms
  • Fees: Service fees vary depending on the type of service provided. The current fees will be communicated during the initial consultation.

  • Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via Stripe through the Simple Practice client portal. Payments are due at the time of service.

  • Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional charges. Clients are encouraged to discuss any payment concerns prior to the session.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify Eutierria Therapy at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $65 cancellation fee.

  • Refunds: Refunds are generally not provided for services rendered. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the therapist.

7. Confidentiality

Eutierria Therapy is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable privacy laws. Information shared during sessions is confidential, with the following exceptions:

  • Mandatory Reporting: If there is a suspicion of child abuse, elder abuse, or if the client poses a danger to themselves or others, the therapist is required by law to report this information to the appropriate authorities.

  • Court Orders: If required by a court of law, the therapist may need to disclose certain information.

  • Emergency Situations: In the event of an emergency, the therapist may share necessary information with emergency personnel.

8. Intellectual Property

All content created by Eutierria Therapy, including educational materials, blog posts, and therapy resources, is the intellectual property of Eutierria Therapy. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without explicit written permission.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

  • Provide Accurate Information: Share relevant and accurate information during therapy sessions.

  • Participate Actively: Engage in the therapeutic process and follow through with agreed-upon treatment plans.

  • Respect Session Times: Arrive on time for sessions and adhere to the scheduled time frames.

  • Adhere to Agreements: Follow the guidelines and agreements made with the therapist regarding session conduct, location, and other relevant factors.

10. Limitations of Liability

While Eutierria Therapy strives to provide effective and meaningful therapeutic experiences, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes from therapy. Clients are encouraged to actively participate in the therapeutic process. Eutierria Therapy is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our services.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, Eutierria Therapy encourages clients to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting the therapist directly. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties may consider mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.

12. Termination

Either the client or the therapist may choose to terminate the therapeutic relationship at any time. Upon termination, any outstanding payments must be settled, and access to therapy records will be provided upon request, in accordance with applicable laws.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

Eutierria Therapy reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the services after any changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
